Why Get Involved

There are many wrongs in every country.
For all these wrongs there are many people that have ideas for improvement. You might say that somebody should do something about this or that but you don't consider yourself as being that "somebody". You are looking for others to clean up the mess for you rather than taking a broom yourself and starting to broom away.
All the other "somebodies" out there think like you do and they do no brooming either. If everyone were to pick up a broom we would clean up the mess in a hurry.
So you complain that things are staying the same or are getting worse.
No wonder, nobody is doing anything about it. Not you, not all the others like you.
You are even teaching your children that nobody can do anything about anything because you are only one person.
So your children and grandchildren will live in the same World you will leave them because you were unwilling to get involved.

Things have to change you say, because the country is going to hell this way.
But how can a single person make any change happen?
The answer is that in human history always single individuals dreamt up big and small ideas and made big and small things happen, some good, some bad. Dreaming up a big idea is only the first step in making it happen. The biggest job is promoting, marketing and preaching the idea to motivate other people to get involved.
